Are you an artist with a unique perspective?
An avant-garde thinker on ethics, art, or their interface?
Can you articulate your thoughts clearly for others?
Then we need your input!
In preparation for our first issue, we’re calling for submissions of articles, essays, poetry, fiction, visual art, photography, video, tutorials, and humour, on the following theme:
where do we draw the line?
In future issues, we’ll be exploring many other aspects of the interface between art & ethics. Although we don’t yet have a set schedule for their publication, you’re welcome to send submissions in advance for any of the following topics as well:
- Children’s books: archetypes, stereotypes, imagination, impact, …
- Artists’ materials: health hazards, animal rights, ecology, …
- Art & Money: funding, prices, making a living, the worth and cost of culture, …
- Art & Soul: art therapy, the flow, zen, self-expression, visionary art, …
- Fashion: self-expression, peer pressure, body image, animal rights, workers’ rights, …
- Gender in art and entertainment (film, video games, etc.): stereotypes, fantasies, depiction, self-expression, fame and recognition, …
… and more topics to come (feel free to make suggestions).
